KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Federal officials said that since 2021, companies invested around $15 billion in Tennessee as a result of President Joe Biden's economic plan. They pointed to the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, CHIPS and Science Act and the Inflation Reduction Act as forces that revitalized manufacturing and strengthened supply chains. "The state's economy is now a more attractive place for companies around the world to invest and expand, creating good-paying jobs in the critical industries and supply chains of the 21st century, like electric vehicle and battery manufacturing," they said.
